We worked with Yahoo! to create a global “Enthusiasts” site, where people who owned a Land Rover could share their love for their vehicle and their passion for outdoor activities. We utilized Yahoo! message boards, YouTube, banner advertising, search engine marketing, and email marketing to promote this new social site and invite Land Rover enthusiasts to join. The campaign was deemed a success based on the number of registered users and the high volume of posts.

In 2010, I developed WordLogic’s global social media strategy specifically utilizing Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, email marketing and online message board/forum monitoring. I also implemented analytics to measure the success of our social media efforts. I created engaging messaging that boosted brand recognition and improved brand reputation, which was measurable through a 500% increase of social media mentions in 1 year. In 2011, WordLogic received the Entrepreneur Award for Best New Product from CTIA/DroidPlanet. This award was given to the company that received the most votes on several social networking sites. I led the entire effort to solicit votes from WordLogic’s employees, Facebook fans, Twitter followers, stock shareholders, and new and prospective customers. WordLogic received 67% of the votes.

With a modest budget of $600 per store and 30 participating stores, we developed a strategic digital campaign utilizing PPC and Facebook. The B2B digital campaign increased traffic to the site by 81%, increased engagement on Facebook, and increased sales for participating locations by 81% during the same time period year over year.
